COMPLAINTS MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK
This Complaints Management Framework provides a structured and transparent approach for receiving, managing, and resolving complaints in accordance with the requirements of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS Act and other applicable legislation).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) are intended to constitute a binding agreement that conditions your use of the websites of Qantara Private Capital (Pty) Ltd. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, “Qantara Private Capital”, “we”, “us” and “our”) including Qantara Private Capital.com, and any sites that are automatically redirected to them (collectively, the “Sites”).
TCF POLICY
Qantara Private Capital (Pty) Ltd (“the Company”) is an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP) licensed under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS Act). As such, the Company is committed to conducting its business honestly, fairly, with due skill, care, and diligence, and in the best interests of its clients and the integrity of the financial services industry.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION POLICY
Qantara Private Capital (Pty) Ltd – Protection of Personal Information Policy. This Policy forms an integral part of Qantara Private Capital (Pty) Ltd’s internal business processes, governance framework, and operational procedures.
INVESTMENT TERMS OF REFERENCE POLICY
The Investment Committee (“the Committee”) is a subcommittee of the Board of Directors of Qantara Private Capital (Pty) Ltd (“the Company”). Its role is to provide strategic direction, oversight, and governance of the Company’s Private Equity (“PE”) funds, ensuring both financial prudence and Sharī‘ah compliance.
REMUNERATION POLICY
Remuneration within Qantara Private Capital (Pty) Ltd is aligned to corporate strategy and in adherence to principles of good corporate governance, as depicted in “best practice” and regulatory frameworks (e.g. King IV) and with the requirements of the Companies Act (2008).
STANDARD POPI ACT PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT
Respecting and protecting your Personal Information (please refer to the definition of Personal Information at the end of this policy statement) is very important to me/us. It is also a Constitutional right, a legal requirement as per the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (the Act), and a good business practice requirement, which I/we take very seriously.
PAIA MANUAL
The Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000, gives effect to the constitutional right of access to any information held by private bodies that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights. The Act provides that a person requesting information must be given access to any record of a private body, if that record is required for the exercise or protection of a right.
